Connect Wellness is a Creighton Community Foundation program. It adapts trusted health information into the multi-dialectal Spanish, English and intermixed language families that people in the Creighton corridor of Phoenix use every day, and sends it by text message.
The community that speaks the language decides what the system may say and when it must stop. Connect Wellness is built as community-based participatory research (CBPR).
CCF has reached more than 8,500 households by text message, on MessageEverywhere, the MIT-licensed platform CCF built with an open developer community.
